Seller's Agreement for Shop HipMix.net
Shop HipMix.net is a service. We provide a safe platform for selling and buying belly dance clothing and accessories all in one place. In order to maintain the site and provide support for sellers and buyers, we do charge a minimal fee for transactions on our site.
Each transaction will incur a 3.5% fee, hereafter referred to as a transaction fee.
HipMix.net Preferred Profile Members do not have to pay any additional fees for having a site.
HipMix.net Basic Profile Members with fully completed and public profiles (video optional) do not have to pay any additional fees for having a site.
If you do not have a HipMix.net Preferred Profile or Basic Profile Membership, you must either pay a monthly $10 rental fee, or you can create your free profile at HipMix.net.
Fees will be charged on the 16th of every month for accumulated fees over the course of the month prior, up to noon CST on the 15th.
Shop HipMix.net expects all members to treat each other with respect and kindness. Your user-name on Shop HipMix.net is your identity. You are responsible for all conduct and content submitted under your user-name on Shop HipMix.net.
Sellers may not use Shop HipMix.net to direct buyers to another online shopping venue to purchase the same items listed in the HipMix.net shop, as this may constitute avoidance of fees. This includes posting links, URLs, or providing any information sufficient to locate the other online shopping sites.
A Shop HipMix.net profile may not be used for the purpose of redirecting traffic to another web location. This includes any inactive shops, please contact us to have your shop closed if you are no longer using it.
Sellers must keep their their shop and account information updated and accurate. A valid e-mail account is required at all times, Shop HipMix.net will always use the address on file to contact sellers, if necessary.
Shop HipMix.net encourages all sellers and/or buyers to settle their own disputes. As a venue, Shop HipMix.net cannot mediate disputes between sellers,buyers and/or other parties.
Shop HipMix.net does not recommend having more than one account, since it can get confusing. Information and accounts can not be merged in any way if the seller decides to change their mind. Shop HipMix.net will not be able to transfer any existing user data (Feedback, ratings, purchase history).
All user-names must be clearly disclosed in the public profile for each shop. A statement such as “ Check out my other storefronts on Shop HipMix.net under these names : … “ would be acceptable. This includes all buying/selling accounts.
You may not use an alternate account to purchase items from yourself. This action could constitute fee avoidance.
You may not list the same unique item in more than one shop on Shop HipMix.net.
All listings on Shop HipMix.net should be clear, accurate and detailed. Titles, tags, photos, and key words are all critical to success on Shop HipMix.net. Keep these policies in mind as you are listing your items in your shop.
You may not create a listing for an item that is not for sale, or is sold out.
A listing may not be created for the sole purpose of advertising. This includes notices of sales events or promotions in your shop. This information should be included in your Shop HipMix.net profile, store banner or shop announcements.
Each unique item must have its own listing on Shop HipMix.net.
You may group items as a set into a single listing only if the items are being sold and shipped together. For example, a “set of 5 black choli tops, all size medium” could be entered in a single listing, if you are selling and shipping the items to the same buyer at the same time.
You may not edit an item’s listing information to change it to a totally new item. This is considered fee avoidance.
Sellers may not use Shop HipMix.net to direct buyers to another online shopping venue to purchase the same items listed in the HipMix.net shop, as this may constitute avoidance of fees. This includes posting links, URLs, or providing any information sufficient to locate the other online shopping sites.
To ensure the integrity of Shop HipMix.net and help protect members from potentially fraudulent activity, transaction interference is not allowed on Shop HipMix.net.
You must not contact another member to buy/sell an item listed on Shop HipMix.net outside of Shop HipMix.net, “off the record”. This may constitute fee avoidance.
You must not use Shop HipMix.net communications to communicate with a member involved in an active/completed transaction to warn them away from a particular buyer, seller or item.
Shop HipMix.net provides an “email” service for our members to communicate privately with each other. It is primarily intended for communication about transactions, but can also help to build friendly relationships with other buyers and sellers.
You must not use Shop HipMix.net communications to send unsolicited advertising or promotions, requests for donations or “spam”.
You must not use Shop HipMix.net communications to knowingly harass or abuse another member of Shop HipMix.net.
If someone explicitly tells you not to contact them, you must not use Shop HipMix.net communications to contact them again, unless you are involved in an open transaction.
You must not use Shop HipMix.net communications to interfere with any transaction, open, closed or pending.
You must not contact another member to buy/sell an item listed on Shop HipMix.net outside of Shop HipMix.net, “off the record”. This may consitute fee avoidance.
You must not use Shop HipMix.net communications to communicate with a member involved in an active/completed transaction to warn them away from a particular buyer, seller or item.
Sending too many messages with Shop HipMix.net communications may auto-disable your communications. You must contact Support to have your abilities restored. Misuse of Shop HipMix.net’s communications may result in suspension or even termination of your Shop HipMix.net privileges and/or account.
Suspended and terminated memberships remain obligated to pay Shop HipMix.net all unpaid fees, per the Terms Of Use.
Treat one another with respect. There is a real person behind each store front and user-name.
Knowingly harassing, insulting and abusing another member is unacceptable.
Discussing or “calling out” a specific member, shop or item (either by name or with identifiable hints) in a negative way is not allowed.
Specific transactions and/or feedback should be discussed in private communications via Shop HipMix.net.
